Mo Mo's Story In 2021, I started to try code by myself in W3School and it was a little confusing for me. However, in 2022 August, I volunteered in teaching computer science fundamental and code.org express course to the children for four months and I found out that coding is not that hard and it is interesting like other engineering subjects.

🙋‍♀️ Mo Mo's Motivation

Living in Myanmar, a conflict zone, it forced me to stop my studies in 2021. It became impossible to complete my electrical engineering program in Myanmar and I wanted to start a new career and found coding. I started to try coding by myself, but as a amateur, it was hardly effective taking a lot of times for me. I joined a lot of free course including 60 min introduction to code by Shecodes. Those 60 minutes are able to cover almost all knowledges that I learned by myself for months. This is why I learn coding in Shecodes. I hope Shecodes courses will really help me in learning code and pursuing my dream to become a professional developer.

🤹‍♀️ Mo Mo's Hobbies

I like to do volunteering and sports. I also like to think. People might wonder that thinking is not such an important thing, but thinking is the first step to know the truth of a thing for me.

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
