Molemoshi's Story I become interested in coding shortly after Covid-19, a friend of mine who was already working at the time told me that I should consider learning how to code to gain some practical knowledge since I was planning to major in Mathematics and Computer Science in my final year of university, but I did not know how to start since there were a lot of languages to consider but I started anyway

🙋‍♀️ Molemoshi's Motivation

I am looking for a structured way of learning how to code and I saw on social media platforms girls showing the learning process with SheCodes and I immediately gained interest. I think being part of a community that inspires and supports each other is also a plus, more especially because the learning journey is not going to be easy and will require discipline and support from mentors and peers

🤹‍♀️ Molemoshi's Hobbies

I used to play basketball but now I just watch basketball games on my phone, I read Motivational and self-improvement books and I watch podcasts

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
