Nancy's Story My interest in coding sparked in high school when I was first exposed to HTML. The simplicity of creating something tangible on the web fascinated me. Since then, my curiosity has expanded to exploring various programming languages. One key inspiration in my coding journey is Zandile Mkhwanazi, whose innovative work motivates me to continually push boundaries and contribute meaningfully to the ever-evolving tech landscape. I loved how she inspires the girls to get more into the stem field.

I like playing netball and soccer for fun. Watching anime is something I enjoy—it has cool stories and characters. Baking is another thing I do, making tasty treats with different flavors. These hobbies make my free time fun and varied.

Nancy's coding training

Nancy has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
