Naomi's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized its power to create meaningful change and solve real-world problems. My motivation for learning how to code is multifaceted. Firstly, I'm driven by a desire to acquire practical skills that are in high demand in today's job market. Secondly, I'm excited about the creative potential of coding. Being able to bring ideas to life through programming appeals to my sense of curiosity and innovation. Whether it's building websites, developing mobile apps, or automating tasks, coding offers endless possibilities for creative expression. Furthermore, I'm inspired by the prospect of being able to contribute to the tech community and make a positive impact through technology. By learning how to code, I'll be better equipped to tackle real-world problems and develop solutions that benefit society as a whole. For fun, I exploring new technologies, and participating in learning about a few of them. Additionally, I like staying active with outdoor activities like hiking and running, as well as unwinding with a good book or podcast.

Naomi's coding training

Naomi has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
