Naw Hsu's Story I was a geology student before the COVID-19 outbreak,  and one of my dreams is to become a seismologist. I was familiar with some GIS and RS applications, but I was unable  to use all of their features due to a lack of computer languages and coding skills. I discovered that computer languages are required in my subject of study. Since that time, I've been interested in coding and attempted to  study it; however, I never had a chance to do so.

🙋‍♀️ Naw Hsu's Motivation

As I live in Myanmar, the opportunities for studies, jobs, and IT skills are less than in neighboring countries. If I have a chance to study coding at Shecodes, I will gain knowledge of digital skills and be able to create my own career opportunities. I believe that learning coding at Shecode is a chance to enrich problem-solving and creative innovation skills.

🤹‍♀️ Naw Hsu's Hobbies

I loved creating watercolor art, digital art, and graphic designs. I have recently discovered that I am also interested in user experience design. In my spare time, I develop social media content and volunteer in specific communities to which I belong for enjoyment and to gain knowledge.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
