Nelly's Story My interest in coding began when I realized how technology is transforming the way we live and work. I was curious about how websites, apps, and software programs are created and how they solve everyday problems. This curiosity grew as I explored ways to automate tasks, manage data efficiently, and create digital solutions that can make work easier and faster. During my IT varsity course with FNB, I was introduced to the basics of programming and computer systems. I found the process of writing code and seeing it work in real time exciting and rewarding. It gave me a sense of accomplishment to turn ideas into functioning programs, even in small projects. This hands-on experience sparked a deeper interest and motivated me to learn more. I was also drawn to coding because it offers opportunities for growth and independence. With coding skills, I can pursue remote work, develop personal projects, and open doors to a career in technology—something I am very passionate about. Overall, my interest in coding is driven by curiosity, creativity, and the desire to build practical solutions. I see it as a powerful tool to learn, grow, and create opportunities for myself and others in the digital world.

🙋‍♀️ Nelly's Motivation

My motivation to learn coding comes from my desire to grow personally and professionally in a world driven by technology. I see coding as a tool that enables problem-solving, creativity, and innovation, which are skills I want to develop to make a meaningful impact. By learning to code, I can create solutions that simplify tasks, improve efficiency, and even contribute to larger projects that help communities or businesses thrive. I am also motivated by the flexibility and opportunities that coding offers. With technology constantly evolving, acquiring programming skills opens doors to remote work, freelancing, and global career prospects. This aligns with my goal of achieving financial independence and building a career that is not confined to one location or role. Additionally, coding challenges me to think critically, learn continuously, and adapt to new situations—qualities that I value highly. I am eager to apply these skills to real-world projects, develop innovative solutions, and grow within the tech industry. Ultimately, my drive comes from a combination of curiosity, ambition, and the desire to create tangible results. Coding is not just a skill for me—it is a pathway to growth, opportunity, and making a lasting contribution in the digital age.
