Neo's Story When I saw that one of my male peers was coding and he was excelling at it then I tried to self teach myself by Youtube and other online learning but always hitting a dead end via the unguided lessons and losing track.

🙋‍♀️ Neo's Motivation

Ever since I finished school I have always considered myself, a "tech girlie", from studying the more technical side of IT; networking to going to being interested in cybersecurity. I would love to prove to myself that I can do it because I have always thought that coding is hard and you need to know math. SheCodes seems like the perfect platform because I will be amongst other women and that in itself is a push, easily so.

I like reading self-help books and just anything to improve my whole being. Skincare, love taking care of my skin and how it looks. Gym or jogging. Cooking, I like experimenting with exotic new recipes and just trying out different cuisines and cooking techniques.

Neo's coding training

Neo has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
