Nija's Story My mother was the one who introduced me to computer and coding. It was the only area in academics that became fun to me as it felt like it didn't require rote learning. It used more of logical things which i'm comparatively good at. I'm interested in learning the same as whenever I go on a website or an mv or a game, it just makes me wish if I could just build the same. Using tech related things on a daily basis, just makes me realise how much of an importance the particular sector is. Also, just like my mother, seeing women thrive in a male dominated sector just makes me proud. I want to contribute in the same.

🙋‍♀️ Nija's Motivation

I want to learn coding with SheCodes to improve my skills for better job opportunities. Improving my coding skills will give a boost to my CV and help me stand out from applicants. The idea of being independent and living my life on my terms is what drives me to work hard. I have always wanted to study internationally for once in my life. Gaining such skills will enhance my chances of becoming financially independent and enable me to fulfil the dreams I have.

🤹‍♀️ Nija's Hobbies

I like sketching, it kind of helps me ease stress and anxiety. I also love listening to music and singing too (though I'm not really good at the latter part). Apart from that, I love watching anime, k-drama, j-drama and the list goes on. Basically any content to binge no matter the language. I love gaining knowledge about different cultures, customs and traditions through them.

Nija's coding training

Nija has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
