Nokutenda's Story My interest grew from seeing women on social media and in real life applying coding to create mobile apps and websites. I also wish to create interesting innovations that may improve other people lives.

This opportunity would propel me further toward my dream of understanding technology in depth. I am highly motivated and place determination and passion at the center of success. This opportunity would allow me to bridge the gap between the male and female inequalities evident in African societies. I hope to not only make a greater contribution to the world of technology but to hopefully be an inspiration to the many young girls who seek role models of women who have penetrated the gender gap perimeter.

🤹‍♀️ Nokutenda's Hobbies

In my spare time, I enjoy partaking in sporting events as they help me maintain a healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally, while simultaneously challenging my limits yet still promoting team-building abilities. I also enjoy reading as an individual who values education and is constantly trying to improve myself, it has become enjoyable to broaden my knowledge horizons. Amongst my interests, I am deeply rooted in the community, so I participate in outreach programs be it through individual efforts or through my church and community. I am extremely passionate about helping those in need and I’m strongly drawn to uplifting those who need it.

Nokutenda's coding training

Nokutenda has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
