Nokuthula's Story I was first introduced to coding while watching random videos on Tiktok, ever since watching those videos I've been doing my own research. I was interested in being able to solve problems, the financial liberty it provides and also being able to have the option of working in the comfort of your own home, that way you're able to work remotely while traveling.

🙋‍♀️ Nokuthula's Motivation

What motivates me to code is to not only improve my mathematical problem solving skills but also learn more about the basics of coding. It's been something that I have been interested in learning ever since I heard of it, the mere fact that I am able to create something is mind blowing. Another reason that motivates me to learn how to code is the fact that I really want to break into the tech world as a female, I want to be able to earn enough to be able to provide not only a better life for myself but also for my family.

🤹‍♀️ Nokuthula's Hobbies

My hobbies include reading, baking and athletics. I love listening to music while taking a walk, I enjoy catching up on the latest episode of my favorite series or watching a movie.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
