Nomakhwezi's Story My interest in coding grew naturally out of my love for technology. I've always been curious about how things work on my sister's PC not just using programs and apps, but understanding what's actually happening behind the screen. Over time, that curiosity turned into a real desire to learn how to build things myself, not just interact with them.

🙋‍♀️ Nomakhwezi's Motivation

I've always loved everything about computers and technology, even without a tech background. SheCodes feels like my chance to go from just using tech to actually creating with it. I'm drawn to the supportive community too learning something new is much easier when you're not doing it alone.

🤹‍♀️ Nomakhwezi's Hobbies

For fun, I love reading and catching up on sleep it's my way of relaxing and recharging. I'm also really into technology, so I spend a good amount of time on my PC just exploring and being curious about how things work.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
