Nombuso's Story I first became interested in coding because I see it as a powerful skill that can create endless opportunities. Since I’m starting my career journey, I wanted to learn something that is both in demand and allows for creativity and problem-solving. The idea of being able to build websites, apps, or even automate tasks fascinated me, and that’s what led me to explore coding. I’m excited to learn with SheCodes because it provides a structured and supportive way for beginners like me to get started.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from my desire to develop a valuable skill set that can open up career opportunities for me. As someone starting out with no previous work experience, I see coding as a way to build a strong foundation in tech and gain practical, in-demand skills. I’m excited about the creativity and problem-solving that comes with coding, and SheCodes appeals to me because of its beginner-friendly approach and supportive learning environment. I believe this program will help me gain confidence and kick-start my journey in the tech world.

In my free time, I love reading and listening to music. Reading allows me to explore different perspectives and learn new things, while music helps me relax and stay inspired. Whether it’s diving into a good book or discovering new songs, these hobbies bring me joy and keep me engaged.

Nombuso's coding training

Nombuso has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
