Nonkululeko Shalom's Story We live in a world that is highly influenced by coding and technology. I believe that Coding is the future, and therefore I want to be part of making the future. My interest in Coding stems from my High school days, I did CAT( Computer Application Technology).Although its not entirely the same, it has something to do with technology. We use technology in almost everything we do in our activities of daily living, from household appliances to even the machines we use in Physiotherapy.

I recently graduated from physiotherapy and I have been working as a physiotherapist for a few months now, I have realised that having to attend to sickly patients has taken a toll on me and thus I have decided to go the tech way ,since I have always had an interest in it. When I saw the TikTok about SheCodes, it immediately piqued my interest because I've been wanting to start off my IT career, however I did not know which route to take as a beginner programmer. SheCodes has incredibly high ratings and thus I believe that I ,with the help of SheCodes Foundation, can achieve my goals.

In my spare time I love to learn about new things, for the past three years I've been learning Korean. I love reading books ,listening to music and hiking.
