Nontobeko's Story I was introduced by a friend and from thereon I started having ideas on apps to make. I kept asking my friend to help bring my vision to life, but they didn't have the time due to their hectic study schedule. Seeing them overcoming the challenges or blocks when coding and the sheer joy and pride as they find the solution by themselves, inspired me. I always tackle's life problems the same and it would be nice learning how things work in the digital world.

I am currently in my starting over phase. The theme around this personal development has been self-love, girl boss, woman empowerment and independence. SheCodes is the literal epitome of that, and I believe they can help change my life in the way that I envision. I am yearning to learn and study something that I am passionate about without restraints. I was never allowed to follow my passions, instead, as a breadwinner, I had to be logical for the family's survival. SheCodes' evidence of portfolio as seen on social media is more than encouraging and being part of this dedicated foundation will be an honor and privilege.

I study Astrology, attend Parkrun and enjoying relaxing on a Sunday watching a nice K-drama or reality show.

Nontobeko's coding training

Nontobeko has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
