Nontsikelelo 's Story I started looking into coding when I saw how much tech is shaping every industry. I wanted a skill that would stay relevant and give me more career flexibility, so I started with free online tutorials and got hooked.

🙋‍♀️ Nontsikelelo 's Motivation

I want to transition into tech because I enjoy problem-solving and creating things. SheCodes appeals to me because it’s designed for women and offers a flexible, project-based way to learn coding from scratch. After completing the course, I plan to build a portfolio and apply for junior front-end roles so I can start a career with more growth and flexibility.

🤹‍♀️ Nontsikelelo 's Hobbies

For fun I love making things with my hands. I do cosmetic formulation, so I experiment with ingredients to create skincare products. I also sew my own clothes, and I am into the gym too - it keeps me disciplined and focused.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
