Nosipho's Story I first became interested in coding when i realized that more and more employers are looking at tech-savvy employees and coding is one of the elements of the digital space that will become more and more popular in the future. I also realized that coding would also allow me to dig deeper into my creativity. I then started to read up on coding and what it entails and it got me very interested and eager to learn.

Modern life has become extremely technologically centric and I would love to acquire the skill to code in order to add value to myself and the world as a whole. I motivated to learn in order to also not get left behind with the ever changing world of technology. Learning to code will also grant me an opportunity to have a unique skill that sets me apart from my peers and that allows me to take one step towards getting better opportunities for myself and to benefit my family.

Nosipho's coding training

Nosipho has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
