Nosipho's Story My interest in coding sparked when I realized how powerful tech could be in bringing creative ideas to life. Whether it was wanting to customize my own website, create an online store for my business, or simply understand how the digital world works behind the scenes—I kept finding myself drawn to the idea of building things from scratch. The more I explored, the more I saw how coding could empower me to not just design, but actually develop functional and interactive experiences. With a background in graphic design, teaching, and small business, I’m excited to expand my skill set and gain the confidence to build and manage websites, enhance my digital projects, and potentially transition into a tech-focused career. I love learning, and I’m drawn to the supportive SheCodes community that empowers women to thrive in tech. Coding will not only boost my professional growth but also help me bring real-world solutions to the projects I care about. I also want to be able to take care of myself and family because right now,only my mom is a breadwinner.

I love spending my free time immersed in creative projects, whether it's designing unique artwork, crafting personalized coloring books, or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen—my chili sauce adventures are just one tasty example! I’m also passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, whether that means diving into a new coding challenge or enjoying playful moments with kids. When I'm not busy creating or teaching, you can find me exploring DIY projects, finding inspiration on Pinterest, or giving back to my community. Every day is a new opportunity to create, learn, and have fun!

Nosipho's coding training

Nosipho has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
