Nothando's Story I got interested in coding in the middle of the year. I saw how the world was constantly changing when it comes to the digital space. So that sparked my interest in coding. I then watched Youtube videos on coding and it made realize that real life problems can be solved by using code.

🙋‍♀️ Nothando's Motivation

I've always been interested coding but I always found myself not knowing where to begin until I saw a woman on tik tok talking about SheCodes then I got even more interested when I saw the website. The coding industry is largely dominated by males but seeing that there is a platform like SheCodes makes me happy for the near- future because we'll be seeing more women in this industry.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
