Nozipho's Story The joy of lifelong learning and being curious motivated me to want to learn how to code as it pushed me to want to explore, innovate and make discoveries. Coding is a constant learning process. No matter how much you think you know, there's always more to learn, whether it's a new language, a new framework, or a new way of thinking about problem solving. That's what makes coding so exciting! My interest to coding was also coupled by my friend and social media, where I got to appreciate it more and willing to learn as much as I can so that I can also be able to motivate the current and next generation to do coding. Coding knowledge creates new job opportunities, improves my analytical thinking, and enhances my personal or professional skill set and all the above are the reasons I am interested in learning as much as I can about coding.

In today's tech-driven world, coding has become a highly sought-after skill, and careers in programming are often seen as the ticket to a prosperous and fulfilling professional life. Coding can be very engaging and fun. Learning how to code will provide me with new career opportunities and will help to make me a more marketable employee in our increasingly technological job market. It is a great way to learn new things without the pressure of deadlines or clients. You can take your time and experiment with different techniques and technologies. Henceforth, I know if I acquire the necessary knowledge, I will be able to get a well paying job thus provide a better life for my family. The world is revolving and I have so many ideas that I can share with the world through coding.

Cooking, blogging and playing video games. I enjoy travelling, playing board games, partying with friends, exercising, learning new things and generally I love browsing through the internet.

Nozipho's coding training

Nozipho has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
