Nozipho Portia's Story My interest in coding started when I witnessed my sister got the opportunity to . Her excitement and progress prompted me to investigate the world of programming. I took a free coding class given by SheCodes, which confirmed my interest in coding. The experience was fascinating, demonstrating the enormous possibilities of what can be created with code. This early exposure, along with my sister's experience, my line of work in technical support help desk created a real desire in me to study coding further and see it as a potential career route.

my motivation to learn to code with SheCodes comes from my interest in technology and my desire to become a web developer. Currently, I am at the foundation level of IT, pursuing a Higher Certificate in IT via remote learning with Mancosa. SheCodes provides a hands-on and interactive learning experience that is ideally aligned with my educational path and job objectives. The program's hands-on approach will provide me with the necessary coding abilities and confidence to develop dynamic web apps. Additionally, I view coding as a bridge to future exploration of cloud engineering. SheCodes provides the disciplined, supportive atmosphere I need to lay a solid foundation in web programming, making it an excellent first step toward attaining my long-term goals in the tech field.

My hobbies would include, reading a book. I like to go out to try new things and recently I have started hiking to clear my mind and to keep fit. I like taking pictures , painting and exploring arts and crafts.

Nozipho Portia's coding training

Nozipho Portia has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
