Nqobile's Story the people I come across who are in this industry of coding whether it be I see them on social media or in person. they always have flexible schedules and are financially stable and when I ask them what they do, the answer is coding or they're in the tech industry. So I had to find out what the tech industry is all about and it sparked my interest.

🙋‍♀️ Nqobile's Motivation

The last couple of months have been hard, I was financial excluded from the degree I was pursing at the time, and I recently came across a video on tiktok where the lady says 'if you have interest for something it could be anything take the leap and pursue it', I've always been interested in coding I just needed the push or motivation to finally do it and explore other opportunities.

🤹‍♀️ Nqobile's Hobbies

I enjoy moving my body, and I've always just been athletic. I love dancing and running, and to wind down I'll usually draw.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
