Nthati's Story I first became interested in coding in Grade 9 at the age of 14. Reason for me liking coding was honestly TV shows. Many people tend to love the main characters who partake in fighting and etc. instead I fell in love with the tech smart characters. I loved the way they coded, found out information and ran software's to prevent accessing of private information and etc. I found it so thrilling and exciting. And so, I ended up choosing Computer Application Technology as a subject in grade 10 and I learned the fundamentals of HTML and I only started learning CSS last year in my 12th grade but it wasn't properly covered in the curriculum so there isn't much i know about that.

The reason for me wanting to learn coding with SheCodes is to learn how to code given that there is a huge market for coding, improve my skills on my resume to improve my chances of being employed.

My hobbies are Knitting and crocheting, baking, recently started being interested in drawing and dancing.

Nthati's coding training

Nthati has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
