Nyasha's Story I run a bootstrap design and fine art business and in the course of my journey I realised I could benefit from a range of applications and websites that currently do not exist in my space, ranging from sales apps, business training apps to aid apps for issues like menstrual dignity. While I do not have the resources to pour into these, if I had the skillset I can make the time, launch and maybe create jobs if the initiatives are successful.

🙋‍♀️ Nyasha's Motivation

I have all these creative ideas for applications that would better the lives of women and small businesses in my country but I cannot implement them because I cannot afford to tuition or go back to university to study computer science. She codes will give me the ability to learn from home with a tailored curriculum that I can build upon.

🤹‍♀️ Nyasha's Hobbies

I love ballroom dancing, swimming, reading and experimenting with new mediums and designs. So far, I have turned two skills, fine art and fashion design into viable income earning small businesses.

🎯

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
