Oleksandra's Story I studied at a school that specialized in IT. It was interesting for me to learn programming and I liked that I learn quickly. Since it worked out well for me, it gave me the motivation to study further, but it all ended at the school level and then I did not have the opportunity to get a good education.

🙋‍♀️ Oleksandra's Motivation

I have always been interested in programming, but I did not have the opportunity to get a good education and experience. I want to be able to get a demanded and well-paid profession in order to provide for myself and my family. Programming is multifaceted and there is always room for improvement. Also, one of the many advantages is that it is possible to work and study remotely.

🤹‍♀️ Oleksandra's Hobbies

Now my main hobby is learning Korean and I plan to start learning Portuguese as I need to integrate into the Portuguese society. I also read books, watch TV shows and do yoga.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
