Olha's Story When I was dating my now ex-boyfriend, who was a software engineer, I became interested in coding. I was fascinated by the way he could create things out of nothing and make them work perfectly. I wanted to learn how to do that too. But I was afraid that I wasn't smart enough. I didn't want to tell him that, so I just watched him code and asked him questions about it.

I want to join the SheCodes learning program to become a Front-end Engineer because I am really interested in Web Development. I have already tried free tutorials and I feel that code is my passion. I dream about creating beautiful sites and products, but unfortunately, all courses are expensive or really old. I believe that SheCodes will help me to achieve my dream and I will be able to switch my job to front-end Engineer.

My passion is books, new technology and Zumba. These are three things that I absolutely love and that make me very happy :) Books have always been a huge part of my life. I can remember spending hours upon hours in bed as a child, exploring all the different stories and worlds that existed within the pages. I still love to read today, and I firmly believe that books can transport us to places we never could have imagined. New technology is another one of my great loves. I am always excited to try out the latest gadgets and devices, and I love learning about how they work and what they can do. I am also a big promoter of using technology to make our life and health better. Finally, I wanted to mention my love of Zumba. I have been doing Zumba for several months now, and it is one of my favourite forms of exercise. I love the music, the movement and the feeling of being in a room full of people who are all there to have a good time.

Olha's coding training

Olha has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
