Olha's Story The first time I heard about coding was when my brother applied for coding course. At that time I thought it too hard for women and I won't manage it. But the time goes and the world tendency shows there is nothing impossible for a girl. At this course I'm sure I'll prove to myself that I'm able to create a web-page, a high trending game or even defense program for government.

🙋‍♀️ Olha's Motivation

This is a perfect opportunity not only for Ukrainians but for all women in general interested in coding. With the growing demand for high qualified specialists in the IT sphere also grows the number of training offers. The more I searched the more I realized that not everything fits my interests. I think SheCodes will make it possible not only to fulfill my interest but to find a job offer in IT industry in the future

🤹‍♀️ Olha's Hobbies

Water is my big passion. The fact that I live in the area without a sea or even a river don't make it impossible for me to swim. I visit public pool a couple times per week. The other day I'm fully using my Netflix subscription and watch everything in Top-10 of the week. My other addiction is reading. Now, when House of Dragon by HBO is airing I decided to read the original Fire and Blood which the series is based on.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
