Olha's Story One of my friends, who is working in the IT industry, said it is one of the best decisions in her entire life because of the benefit that she can bring others thanks to her work. My friend told me that I will definitely find something for myself as IT is an extremely diverse field, but coding is a great base to start with.

🙋‍♀️ Olha's Motivation

Since the war started in my country, I was looking for a new job to be able to support the country's economy. I found out that the vast majority of employers are looking for someone with a coding background, rather than for someone with knowledge of economics. Taking all things into account, understanding that demand remains strong for coding-related jobs gave me a huge impetus to try coding out not only as a new career opportunity but also as a tool for the support of my country on its way to victory.

🤹‍♀️ Olha's Hobbies

I am so into hiking, yoga, and cooking. In my spare time, I often go somewhere with my friends, since traveling is another crucial part of my life.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
