Omoleye's Story I had colleagues that were in tech, I would sit with them sometime when they talk about their experience and tech in general and because I am a naturally curious person I started to ask questions and developed interest but they would always discourage me and say they don’t think tech is for ladies so they won’t help me out with learning and I did not have enough money to get trained .When I heard about shecodes I was very excited to finally get a chance to explore coding and find a place that is good for me in tech.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
