Phindile Paris's Story I first got interested in coding when I had to build websites for my Business Information Systems subject while studying Internal Auditing. It was a practical assignment that sparked my curiosity about coding. As I worked on those projects, I found joy in the process of creating something functional and visually appealing from scratch. It was fascinating to see lines of code come together to form a website that I could interact with. The more I learned about coding during that time, the more I realized its potential. I saw how coding could empower me to bring my ideas to life in the digital world.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
