Pooja's Story I first became interested in coding when I saw how powerful and versatile technology could be in solving real-world problems. My curiosity was piqued when I started exploring how websites, apps, and software are created. The idea of being able to build something from scratch that could potentially reach and impact millions of people fascinated me. Additionally, the logical and analytical nature of coding appealed to me, as I enjoy tackling complex problems and finding innovative solutions. Furthermore, I am passionate about promoting diversity in tech. By becoming a successful software engineer, I hope to inspire other young women, especially from underrepresented backgrounds, to pursue careers in technology. Ultimately, my goal is to excel as a software engineer, make my family proud, and serve as a role model for others. With SheCodes, I am confident that I can acquire the skills and knowledge needed to turn these aspirations into reality.

I have a variety of hobbies that keep me engaged and inspired. One of my primary passions is coding and software development. Whenever I feel bored or have free time, I enjoy experimenting with different coding projects. I often work on improving my previous projects or creating new ones, constantly challenging myself to learn and grow. Additionally, I participate in competitive programming, finding it both fun and intellectually stimulating. Apart from coding, I have a deep love for photography. Capturing beautiful moments and sceneries through my lens allows me to express my creativity in a different way. I also enjoy listening to music, which helps me relax and recharge. These hobbies not only provide me with a balanced life but also inspire me to bring creativity and innovation to my work in technology.

Pooja's coding training

Pooja has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
