Precious's Story I know it's one of the trending skills now. I am curious to know what it's all about. Several times, I have seen women who are great at coding and wondered how they do it. My desire was stirred up when I saw this opportunity to learn coding in a Facebook group so I applied.

🙋‍♀️ Precious's Motivation

I desire to learn coding in order to be able to teach others especially young children. Coding is a valuable skill that will improve my marketability and give me financial stability. Acquiring this skill will greatly improve my skill set. As a mother of young children, if I acquire this skill I will educate them thereby increasing the technological know-how of my family and society.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
