Rafaela's Story I became interested in coding recently. I have a degree in Law and since college I have learned that technology is a very important tool to know and work with. I would like to make a career transition and learning coding could open up many chances to work in another field where I can feel more free to be creative and transform the world around me.

My motivation comes from the way technology transforms the world and makes our lives easier. Additionally, learning to code is crucial today, not only because it offers a unique way to create real-world solutions but also because it helps us understand how technology truly works. Furthermore, I think it's a very powerful way to increase my chances of getting tech jobs in the near future.

I like to dance, especially Samba, and paint sometimes. I also like to run and exercise. I would like to have more time for those hobbies, but I'm doing my best with what I have.

Rafaela's coding training

Rafaela has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
