Reeaoboka's Story Every quarter of the year I look up which jobs are in demand. Software engineers or anything tech related is always in the top three. That’s how I first became interested, as challenging as it looks with patience, perseverance and discipline I believe I can do it. Secondly, men dominate the tech world, I want to be one of the few women who infiltrates the industry and break the stigma around women being in technology.

🙋‍♀️ Reeaoboka's Motivation

I am a young woman living in South Africa, where the economy is rapidly losing momentum. With job scarcity affecting more than 32% of South Africans, employers are now looking for candidates with at least some fundamental computer programming skills. More occupations are going to demand at least some coding expertise as technology is becoming more pervasive in our daily lives and at work. Enrolling in this programme will not only increase my chances of securing a job but would also change my life.

I enjoy reading, I absolutely love to cook, whether through trying new recipes or developing recipes. I also enjoy board games, I am very competitive. I love music, and recently started photography

Reeaoboka's coding training

Reeaoboka has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
