Refilwe's Story I was first interested when I was 16 I’ve always asked myself how certain apps were developed how they are able to run with no hassle (bugs) and I told myself that one day I’d love to create my own and even know how to create a website the thought of learning how to code makes me so excited

I have always had passion for coding I believe it is what I am born to do. Tech is a male dominated industry and breaking into it is mind blowing also it would improve my life my mind and I would also use this experience to improve my job skills and financial situation

Expanding my knowledge on tech and reading that is literally what I love doing. Another hobby would be an outdoor activity I am actually a good swimmer therefore I love swimming and because Africa is hot I do it on a regular

Refilwe's coding training

Refilwe has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
