Retisia 's Story I first became interested in coding after watching a YouTube video of a girl sharing her journey in tech. She explained how coding allowed her to create amazing projects and solve real-world problems. Her story inspired me and made me curious about the possibilities coding could offer, and I decided to explore it for myself.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to gain the skills needed to bring my ideas to life and to open doors to new career opportunities. I admire SheCodes' mission of empowering women in tech, and I’m excited to join a supportive community where I can learn and grow. Coding is a valuable skill, and I want to use it to create solutions, make a positive impact, and challenge myself.

I love to read, and my favorite genre is fantasy. Getting lost in imaginative worlds and exploring new adventures through books is something I enjoy a lot. It helps me relax and sparks my creativity.

Retisia 's coding training

Retisia has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
