Rhoda's Story I have a whatsapp group of women who encouraged us to do the hard stuff, at school i was not very good in mathematics and was always scared to do things that involve math, however this lady challenged us women to venture into tech and learn and move with times and not to be left behind in technology.

I have realised that our world has changed and needs someone who is techno savvy, and I need to upgrade myself as a woman and learn coding. I am challenging myself to do something i have never done before and I want to do coding and venture into the tech world. I want to increase my knowledge and be able to provide for my family

I am an avid reader, i read a lot, I also enjoy sports particularly netball and watching cricket, football and swimming. I also lave dancing to music as a way to work out and just for fun with my family.

Rhoda's coding training

Rhoda has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
