Rita's Story I remember I found myself drown in coding during Web Design course in university. Coding was pretty difficult, but still joyful - because I could play with what I`m writing and simultaneously see the changes. Unluckily I had no opportunity to learn programming properly (I was studying Journalism), but I tried Javascript a year ago and then tried once again, now, as war has came to my home.

🙋‍♀️ Rita's Motivation

I just love the process of coding, it distracts me from anxiety and stabilizes my mental state. And I also appreciate the opportunity of seeing what I`m doing immediately - it gives me much courage to continue. Not like the staff I`ve been doing before. I`m happy to know there`s is a platform made for female community. Seems like I really can find some outstanding support! I hope I can use the time given me after the 24th of February to reset my carrier path. I`m still not sure if I can make it while the missiles attacking my home, but still have hope to move on like I always wanted it for myself.

🤹‍♀️ Rita's Hobbies

Before war I was documenting the modernist architecture of Zaporizhia and its region. I want us to appreciate the houses we live in, though they may have tough historical background, like soviet ones. The first step to love is humanization. And I`m trying to tell the story of my hometown`s buildings through their authours` names or else stories.
