Riya's Story I've grown up listening to the stories of Google, Microsoft, Apple. Always wonder how do they do this and that's when I realised how interesting and magical coding can be. So took my subjects as Computer Science in school and waited all day long everyday just to attend that one hour class of coding. Clearly once you start there is no ending. I used to make a lot of mistakes but my teacher always motivated me to never give up as it was my passion and after all success comes to those who dare

Since childhood I always wanted to become a Self Independent women and out of various career options that the world brought me through I chose Engineering. Coding fascinates me a lot, from seeing today's advancing technologies to being a part of it by contributing my share in it. I love to code. I love to learn. I'm always looking up to opportunities that can help me learn more and more and SheCodes just seems to be a perfect match for that. I'm very motivated and eagerly wanting to be a part of this program to showcase my best skills!

🤹‍♀️ Riya's Hobbies

Apart from being a tech enthusiast, I am a Coffee Lover. I love to play outdoor sports like Cricket and Badminton. I have a keen interest in exploring and travelling back to my hometown in holidays. On days when I'm free, I listen to music, watch movies, play with my siblings and gossip with my mother(It's the best therapy :))

Riya's coding training

Riya has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
