Ruth's Story I became interested in Coding mostly out of curiosity. The ability to create something from scratch, like a website or an app, is incredibly fascinating and motivating. I would also like to tap into my potential ans creativity and solve some real world problems.

The main reasons why I want to learn to code with SheCodes are: 1.Career Advancement: Coding skills are highly sought after in today's job market, and being proficient in coding can open doors to exciting and well-paying career opportunities. 2.Creativity and Problem-Solving: Coding allows one to build things and solve problems in a creative and logical way. And I would like to tap into my creativity and solve some real world problems. 3.Personal Growth: Learning to code can be challenging but rewarding, boosting one's confidence and problem-solving skills. 4.Community:SheCodes provides a supportive community of women learning to code, fostering collaboration and encouragement, a community that I would like to benefit from.

I like to listen to music, cook and bake for fun. If I'm not in the kitchen cooking up a storm, then my head is buried in a book.

Ruth's coding training

Ruth has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
