Sahar's Story I got interested in coding because I've always been curious about technology and how it works. As a kid, I enjoyed using computers and exploring different programs. I often wondered how websites and apps were created and wanted to understand the process behind them. In school, I liked math and solving problems, which led me to coding. I found out that coding is like solving puzzles, and I enjoy figuring out how to make things work. This challenge made me want to learn more about coding. I also see how coding can make a big difference in the world. Technology is changing everything, and I want to be part of that change. Creating something useful, like a website or an app, and seeing others use it is very motivating for me. Another reason is the creativity in coding. You can start with a simple idea and turn it into something real. This process is very satisfying. Plus, coding lets you work on projects you care about. I've also been inspired by stories of people who used coding to solve real problems and build great careers. Their experiences showed me that with the right skills, I can make a difference too. So, my curiosity, love for problem-solving, and desire to create and help with technology led me to start learning coding. I believe it's a useful skill that will open many opportunities for me

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
