Samkelisiwe's Story I have always wanted to learn how to code, but I wasn't qualified for it when I graduated from high school. I've since realised that coding gives a lot of chances.My goal has always been to work as a software engineer, and I am confident that she codes will help me achieve this goal.

I like how she codes is recognised by lot of tech companies which will give me more opportunities and also i know lot of women who completed their course and were able to get jobs as I also don’t have any permanent job at the moment.Shecodes will help me get the chance to pick up new skills, set and accomplish difficult objectives, and adhere to deadlines, I want to learn new skills that might make it easier for my family and I to accomplish our goals in the hopes that I can empower others on the She Codes journey.Furthermore i want to learn more about coding so that I can use it as a springboard for my career.

In my spare time, I like to watch films on Netflix and read books. Along with baking, I also like to play board games.

Samkelisiwe's coding training

Samkelisiwe has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
