Sanelisiwe 's Story 3 years ago when I learned that it’s no longer male dominated and women are able to learn how to code. I absolutely knew that I had to learn but I didn’t know how to get into the industry and where to start as I would not be able to afford to go back to school full time.

🙋‍♀️ Sanelisiwe 's Motivation

I’m a mother of two children who has been in the healthcare corporate sector for 7 years. I am unable to learn more as I cannot afford it but I have been untested in learning to code. I think it would be a lovely opportunity to learn a different skill set and also to encourage my kids and family that’s it never to Kate to change your career you can do anything your mind sets to do.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
