Sara's Story My journey into the world of coding began not with a sudden spark, but with a gradual realization of its power. Initially, I encountered code as a user, interacting with the software and websites that shape our daily lives. I was fascinated by the intricate mechanisms behind these tools, the way lines of text could translate into functional applications. This curiosity deepened as I started exploring online resources and tutorials. I was drawn to the logical problem-solving aspect of coding, the satisfaction of building something from scratch. The ability to create, innovate, and contribute to the digital landscape became incredibly appealing.

🙋‍♀️ Sara's Motivation

I want to learn coding with SheCodes because I want to be able to make things with computers. The world is changing, and knowing how to code is like knowing a new language. SheCodes helps women learn, and I like that. I want to build websites and apps. It seems fun to make something from nothing.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
