Seabelo's Story I first found out about coding via TikTok. My idea of building has been in my mind but I never knew where to begin and that is when I learnt Shecodes is a place where I can bring my idea to life.

🙋‍♀️ Seabelo's Motivation

My motivation is to build a website to help raise awareness about the alarming rates of domestic abuse and sexual assault in my village and country, with the hope that this website will make more people share their stories without fear and shame of being ridiculed.

🤹‍♀️ Seabelo's Hobbies

I spend most of my time playing games and reading a lot of books.

🎯

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
