Shamiso's Story When I learn’t that coding was the root of most robotic tasks at school I found myself curious as to the extent of its influence, leading me to discovering coding and animation. Learning that animation could be generated through a series of codes developed from a coding language granted me the ability to mix my passion for art and that of computers. This built a curiosity on the boundaries been the two fields especially when looking at the likes of 3d coding and mixed reality

🙋‍♀️ Shamiso's Motivation

I want to integrate my passion for art and coding into a feasible income source that’ll help me pass skills to those within my family and provide a better life path for those around me by opening up opportunities through the skills for example by teaching the skills that I hope to acquire through the program

🤹‍♀️ Shamiso's Hobbies

I find pleasure in activities such as art and computer science along with reading academic research on issues such as mental health and its impacts

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
