Shandrika Natasha 's Story My son completed a free Coding course with Purple Tutor during the Lockdown and I found that I enjoyed it as well. I have since completed various online courses as well as one with the Department of Education.

I have spearheaded the introduction of Coding and Robotics at school in the Foundation Phase and by completing the course I would have the expertise to implement it in the other grades and train other educators.

I found much of my spare time was spent online so I started using various Apps to design newsletters logos invitations banners etc. So I'm enjoying graphic designing. I also enjoy gardening.

Shandrika Natasha 's coding training

Shandrika Natasha has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
