SHARON 's Story I developed my interest in coding with a facination in technology and eager to learn how things are happening at the backend. I would also like to develop an App or a Game I was particularly drawn to SheCodes because of its mission to empower individuals, especially women, to gain valuable technical skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. I wanted to explore coding to not only understand the mechanics behind the technology we use every day but also to build projects that could potentially have a positive impact. SheCodes stood out to me as a great platform to start this journey.

SheCodes is known for empowering women and underrepresented groups by providing a supportive environment to learn coding skills. I am particularly interested in gaining new technical skills, exploring a career in tech, and enjoying the challenge of learning something new.

I enjoy a variety of activities in my free time. One of my favorite hobbies is playing games on my phone, which allows me to think and want to learn how to create them. I also like to listen to music, as it helps me relax and unwind. Additionally, I’m passionate about sharing ideas with friends in the same field, which keeps me engaged and constantly learning new things. These activities not only provide a great balance to my routine but also inspire creativity and problem-solving skills that I find valuable in my coding journey.

SHARON 's coding training

SHARON has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
