Sheila's Story My first spark of interest in coding came during my undergraduate studies. I noticed how my classmates who knew how to code tackled problems differently, often finding great solutions. I realized that coding wasn't just for computer science majors, but a powerful tool that could enhance my engineering skills.

As an engineering graduate, I've developed a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. Adding coding to my toolkit can exponentially increase my capabilities and career prospects. In today's tech-driven world, software touches every aspect of engineering, from design and simulation to data analysis and automation. It will enable me to collaborate more effectively with software teams and contribute to interdisciplinary projects.

Sheila has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
