Sihle's Story My interest in coding developed as I recognized the growing impact of technology on education and its potential to address some of the challenges I faced as a teacher. My journey into coding was driven by a desire to enhance education through technology. Recognizing the limitations in current educational tools and the potential for technology to transform learning experiences inspired me to learn coding. This transition allows me to leverage my teaching background to create innovative solutions that benefit both educators and students

I am interested in transitioning from being a teacher to a role that combines my educational background with technology. Specifically, I want to learn coding to develop educational tools and platforms that make technology and AI more accessible to learners.

I have a passion for reading and music. I enjoy learning different languages, which broadens my understanding of diverse cultures and enhances my communication skills. Being outdoors is refreshing for me; I love playing netball and tennis as they keep me active and are a great way to enjoy time with friends and stay fit.

Sihle's coding training

Sihle has gained access to SheCodes Basics and SheCodes AI Basics at no cost. Together they are a 6 week coding training that’ll take her from a complete beginner to building her first websites and AI projects.

She'll learn the foundations of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, plus how to build with AI and modern development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

📦 Foundation students get access to these coding workshops:
1. SheCodes Basics (3 weeks)
2. SheCodes AI Basics (3 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
