Sithembile 's Story Movies introduced me to coding but they always made it look like it was difficult. So after being interested in design I wanted to explore more into the foundation of what makes the app that i often use, and how they are made which lead me to discovering coding in a different light. After the pandemic that's when coding became famous and I started to learn more on how I can also learn to do it.

🙋‍♀️ Sithembile 's Motivation

What motivates me is the number of recommendations, the number of graduates testimonies and how widely recognized it is world wide. Having attended the intro class, I really enjoyed the breaking down of everything, how quick my question were answered in my emails. With this I don't want to miss my chance. This opportunity I believe will also open up doors for me to get employment.

The SheCodes Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The SheCodes Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
